**About the Position:**

IT Support Specialist - Security Operations

We are looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Security Operations team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring IT security tools for alerts, events, and ticket queues. This role involves working closely with the SOC team to identify and resolve security-related issues.

  • Monitor IT security tools for alerts, events, and ticket queues.
  • Collaborate with escalation resources to mitigate and resolve security issues.
  • Document findings and recommendations to enhance future service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Identify and report potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
  2. Work with SecOps to analyze IoCs (Indicators of Compromise), phishing emails, account compromises, and malware.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to improve incident response.

**Requirements:**

  • Advanced Active Directory knowledge and experience with conditional access, MFA, and RBAC.
  • Experience with traditional Active Directory management, GPO, permissions, and monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
  • Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to complex problems.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Exposure to various security alerts and analysis techniques.Knowledge of SaaS solutions like Salesforce or Webex and cloud backup platforms.Experience with Azure Entra ID Administration and Security.
