Job Title: Cloud Engineering Lead

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable software architecture using Infrastructure as Code. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and a strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.

About the Role

This role will involve collaborating with developers across different teams to create highly scalable and reliable systems on the cloud. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Kubernetes infrastructure, optimizing cluster performance, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring site reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable architectures and systems, leveraging caching, message queues, databases, microservices, and other technologies.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes concepts such as pods, services, deployments, and secrets.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters.
  • Maintain and optimize Kubernetes cluster performance and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment and operation of cloud-based systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, and excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash is also required.

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or similar roles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
