We are seeking a skilled Android Engineer to develop high-quality applications from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Application Development: Design, develop, and deploy robust Android applications that meet the highest standards of performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  3. Code Quality: Ensure code quality through unit testing, debugging, and optimization, adhering to best practices and standards.
  4. Mentorship: Mentor junior developers by sharing knowledge, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  5. Code Reviews: Actively participate in comprehensive code reviews to maintain best practices and standards.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of professional experience in Android development.
  3. Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin, with demonstrated experience in developing complex applications.
  4. Strong understanding of Android SDK and lifecycle components.
  5. Hands-on experience with MVVM architecture and other design patterns.
  6. Experience in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  7. Proficiency in handling background services, threading, and concurrency.
  8. Familiarity with Jetpack libraries like Room, Navigation, and LiveData.
  9. Expertise in UI/UX implementation, responsive design, and animations.

Nice to Have:

  1. Experience with Android Jetpack Compose is a plus.
  2. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  3. Prior experience working with speech-to-text models or other AI-based features is an advantage.
