The role of a Radiographer is multifaceted, requiring the ability to provide safe and competent x-ray procedures at patients' homes in various locations.

The successful candidate will perform radiology-related procedures, handle portable x-ray machines, and position equipment for clear views.

Key responsibilities include selecting cassettes, performing diagnostic x-rays as prescribed by clinicians, determining exposure settings, processing images, and ensuring timely examination and image archiving.

Requirements
  • A strong educational background in Science, preferably with a Bachelor's degree or a one-year Radiography certificate course from a recognized institute.
  • At least two to three years of experience as a Radiographer or completion of a traineeship in Radiography from a reputable hospital.
  • Possessing knowledge of film quality judging, patient positioning, film developing, supplies handling, and general record keeping.
  • Demonstrating good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills.
  • Holding a good working knowledge of diagnostic procedures and equipment operation.
