Job Opportunity: Florist Assistant

We are seeking a creative and skilled Florist Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the creation and arrangement of floral designs for various occasions. This includes selecting and purchasing flowers and plants, preparing arrangements, and maintaining inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in selecting and purchasing flowers and plants from suppliers
• Prepare floral arrangements according to client requests
• Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies
• Assist in customer service, taking orders and ensuring client satisfaction
• Clean and maintain work area to ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Assist in design set up for events such as weddings or parties
• Learn about different types of flowers, plants, and techniques used in floral design

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Passion for floral design with a desire to learn more about it
• Attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions closely
• Good communication skills for interacting with clients
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, bending, and carrying heavy objects
