Electrical Engineer Role

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer in Protection Systems to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects in substation protection, relay coordination, and electrical system analysis.

This is a long-term position that requires a solid understanding or academic background in power system protection. You will be responsible for assisting in protection system design and relay coordination studies, as well as supporting the preparation of technical documentation, schematics, and reports.

The role offers direct mentorship and the chance to learn from home using industry-standard software tools such as ETAP, PowerFactory, PSCAD, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in protection system design and relay coordination studies
  • Support in preparing technical documentation, schematics, and reports
  • Learn to use industry-standard software tools (e.g., ETAP, PowerFactory, PSCAD, etc.)
  • Participate in ongoing protection-related projects under supervision
  • Perform technical research and standard referencing (e.g., IEEE, IEC)

Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, recent graduates preferred. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of protection relays, fault analysis, and power system fundamentals, eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role, good communication skills and self-discipline for remote work, strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic drawing tools (AutoCAD or similar).
