Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Linux Systems Architect to lead the design and implementation of our global server operations infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Linux, network troubleshooting, scripting, and automation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for solving complex infrastructure issues, enhancing system performance through tuning and automation, developing scripts to automate daily routines, deploying systems efficiently, maintaining security and compliance, and ensuring application scalability and redundancy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Solve complex infrastructure issues using technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Enhance system performance through effective tuning and automation techniques.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to automate daily routines and improve efficiency.
  • Deploy systems efficiently and effectively to meet business needs.
  • Maintain security and compliance standards to protect against threats and ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Ensure application scalability and redundancy to support business growth and minimize downtime.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 7-10 years of Linux experience.
  • Expertise in Enterprise Linux, kernel tuning, and OS monitoring tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with software project build automation and integration tools is desirable.
  • Proficient in Shell (bash, ksh) and Python scripting is required.
  • Working knowledge in orchestration and configuration management tool (Ansible) is necessary.
  • In-depth knowledge in public cloud (AWS) is a must-have.
  • Understanding of Infrastructure and security services like Load Balancing, Firewall, TLS encryption, disk encryption is required.
  • Good architectural experience in component placement for traditional 3-tier applications and microservices-based applications is desirable.
  • Experience in Linux Containerized environments (Docker, CoreOS) is a plus.
