Direct Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven sales professional to promote and sell HD Putty directly to end consumers.

This role involves promoting our high-quality putty products to homeowners, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in direct-to-consumer sales, fieldwork, and product demonstrations within the paint and construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales & Account Management: Drive direct sales of HD Putty to consumers by building strong relationships with individual customers, contractors, and retail outlets. Act as the main point of contact for end customers.
  • Field Visits & Customer Engagement: Conduct regular field visits to meet consumers, contractors, and dealers to understand their needs and offer product solutions. Provide on-site demonstrations and guidance on product application and benefits.
  • Product Knowledge: Be a subject-matter expert on HD Putty, including technical aspects, benefits, and application methods, to effectively communicate with customers and influence purchasing decisions.
  • Customer Support & Service: Provide excellent post-sales support, troubleshooting, and consultations to ensure customer satisfaction with the product. Respond promptly to queries and concerns related to product use.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in direct-to-consumer sales, fieldwork, or sales within the paint, construction, or related industries, with a focus on consumer-facing roles.
  • Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of paint, putty, and construction products, especially those used for wall preparation and finishing.
  • Sales Expertise: Demonstrated ability to drive direct-to-consumer sales and hit targets. Proven experience in customer engagement and relationship-building.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical product information to consumers in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle customer inquiries, resolve product-related issues, and offer practical solutions in a professional manner.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to meet customers, conduct product demonstrations, and attend field-based events.
  • Education: A degree or diploma in business, marketing, construction, or a related field is preferred.
