Senior .NET Developer Job Description

Xa Group is seeking a talented Senior .NET Software Engineer to join our team on a remote basis. This role involves working on automotive software technology stack for enterprise-level clients and leading best-in-class engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze system requirements and create development plans to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages, adhering to industry standards.
  • Develop technical specifications and architecture to support complex systems.
  • Test and debug various .NET applications to guarantee optimal performance.
  • Review and refactor code to maintain high-quality solutions.
  • Deploy fully functional applications, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Upgrade existing programs to stay ahead of technological advancements.
  • Support junior developers' work, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.
  • Document development and operational procedures to facilitate future reference.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in .NET software development, with a strong background in building scalable systems.
  • Proficiency in developing a suite of .NET microservices used in API/SDK first and headless fashion & event-based architecture.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (like C# and Visual Basic .NET).
  • Familiarity with database technologies and design of systems using structure, semi-structure, and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge about Cloud Technologies preferably Azure.
  • Familiarity with agile environments and ability to adapt to changing requirements.
  • Troubleshooting abilities, with a focus on resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Good communication skills, with an Upper-Intermediate+ (B2+) level of English proficiency.
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning AI, IoT, .NET, and Analytics microservices and their SLAs. They will participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements to SLA, and have ownership over multiple Azure .NET technologies.
