Job DescriptionA video editor is responsible for assembling raw footage into engaging social content in various formats. They apply color correction, sound mixing, and motion graphics to enhance video quality and impact.
Key Responsibilities:- Assemble raw or previously edited footage into cohesive videos that align with marketing objectives.
- Apply basic editing techniques, such as color correction and sound mixing, to improve video quality and engagement.
- Develop a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of each video project.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure final videos meet brand requirements and platform guidelines.
- Create storyboard drafts and receive approval before digitally altering the video.
- Edit video and audio elements using professional software.
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro X and Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of motion graphics is beneficial.
- Strong command of color grading principles.
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
