About the Role

We are seeking an experienced developer with excellent leadership skills to manage a team of developers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in PHP development, experience in team management, and a solid understanding of software design patterns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing distributed, high-performance frontend and backend systems
  • Developing service components from specification through design, coding, debugging, and deployment
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date technical documentation for systems and logic
  • Supporting Quality Assurance with development and execution of test plans
">

Key Skills and Qualifications

">

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

">
  • Master/Bachelor's in Computer Science or relevant area of study
  • Experience in team management and coaching other team members
  • Minimum 5 years of solid experience developing advanced web applications using PHP programming language
  • Strong JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS skills
  • Sound understanding of software design pattern concepts
  • Excellent RDBMS knowledge and experience (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Comfortable with CVS, SVN, or GIT version control systems
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of tasks, processes, and products

Bonus Skills

">

Prior experience with Agile Methodology as a software development process, particularly SCRUM/Kanban, would be an asset. Additionally, familiarity with task and/or issue tracking tools, such as JIRA, and experience using PHP CMS technologies like WordPress and Drupal could also be beneficial.
