Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Academic Faculty. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research to undergraduate students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Teach and mentor students through lectures, group discussions, practical demonstrations, and case studies.
  • Organize and monitor academic activities, collaborating with the Principal's office to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Promote and coordinate departmental research initiatives, aligning with PMDC/HEC guidelines.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, publishing research in reputable journals.
  • Maintain accurate records of teaching materials and resources.
  • Propose curriculum updates and implementation strategies to stay current with industry developments.
  • Create and administer MCQs and OSPEs.
  • Develop and train demonstrators and support staff.
  • Participate in workshops and training programs organized by the Department of Dental Education.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to departmental organization and administration.
  • Foster professional values among junior doctors and students, facilitating group discussions and seminars.
  • Ensure effective implementation of college decisions, traditions, and values.
  • Cultivate co-curricular and support activities for students, as advised by college authorities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Adhere to any duty assigned by the Principal/HOD within the scope of this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

This position requires strong academic qualifications, accompanied by excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
