Telecommunications Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building long-term relationships with telecommunications and mobile operators customers.

About the Role
  • Sales Support: Provide technical support during customer discussions and requirements gathering sessions.
  • Tender Processing: Involve in Tender/RFP processing, proposal creation, and presentation delivery.
  • Technical Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between sales, customers, and engineering teams for pre-sales issues.
  • Opportunity Identification: Collaborate with the sales division to identify opportunities and close large business deals.
  • Document Development: Develop pre-sales and marketing documents to promote our solutions.
  • Technology Research: Stay up-to-date on new technologies and innovative solutions that can benefit our customers.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective solution delivery and pre-sales support.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer/Telcom Engineering or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Presentation and Communication: Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Familiarity with telecom/voice technologies, solutions, and services.
  • Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel regularly nationally and internationally for sales engagement activities.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work closely with sales and marketing teams by participating in all sales strategies and activities.
  • Training and Development: Perform technical presentations, tools demonstrations, and conduct training to users.

The ideal candidate will have existing contacts or an established customer base within the telecommunications industry.
