Technical Support Specialist Role

About the Position:

This role entails managing customer issues, tracking, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying root causes. You will also train, educate, assist and guide other employees within Support and across the company. Identifying and alerting stakeholders on larger issues and trends is crucial.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Exceed customer expectations in quality, timeliness, documentation, resolution and overall experience.
  2. Resolve support issues related to Motive's products.
  3. Investigate errors/bugs using available data and tools; report issues to the Technical Lead/Engineering team.
  4. Determine the impact and prevalence of issues to identify root causes.
  5. Use engineering-developed tools to modify erroneous user/driver data for support resolution.
  6. Provide constructive feedback to Tier 1 agents for training and technical support.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Customer Support, technical support or software development.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with software development processes and tools for SaaS products.
  • Technical troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn and excel.
  • Ability to perform in-depth root cause analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Python is beneficial.
