Mechanical Project Engineer

Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Mechanical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Your role will involve working closely with teams across the business, managing the production of deliverables and ensuring their quality and acceptance by customers. You'll be responsible for defining mechanical requirements and interfaces, monitoring the conformity of Mechanical Sub-Systems, and managing risk mitigation plans.

We're looking for someone with a strong understanding of CAD tools such as Catia V5 and PLM tools, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you're a proactive individual with a sense of urgency and priority, and are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

  • Plan and pilot Mechanical Domain activities and deliverables

  • Ensure the quality and acceptance of Mechanical Domain deliverables

  • Report on Mechanical Domain activities progress and manage escalations

  • Coordinate with stakeholders and resolve project mechanical issues

  • Contribute to the definition of Mechanical Domain architecture

  • Support cross-functional teams during the production phase

About You

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering

  • Experience or understanding of the railway industry, with a preference for 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

  • Proficient knowledge of CAD tools such as Catia V5 and PLM tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including with external parties like customers

  • Effective time management and reporting skills

  • A proactive mindset with a sense of urgency and priority

  • Customer & Product focus with a structured and hands-on approach

  • Operational proficiency in English for reading, writing, and technical meetings
