Epidemiology Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

The Aga Khan University is seeking an experienced Epidemiology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data related to our research projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data related to our research projects
  • Develop internal audits for ongoing research projects and share report to the Principal Investigators with recommendations
  • Prepare reports and present findings to the research team and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Masters in Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Sociology, Public Health or Health Policy Management preferably with MBBS background; candidates having Diploma in Child Health or Certification in Good Clinical Practices (GCP) would be preferred
  • At least five years of relevant experience with at least three years of experience at senior level preferably in healthcare or research organization of good repute
  • Sound knowledge of research methods, theories of society and social issues such as differences in gender, cultural and religious beliefs
