Estimation Expert Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned estimation professional with expertise in General Contracting (GC), including MEP trades. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in estimation and quality assurance processes, preferably on US-based projects. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of estimation deliverables while upholding high standards within the department.

Job Requirements:

  • Review and verify material takeoffs, estimates, and bid documents for precision and completeness.
  • Conduct quality control checks on estimation deliverables across all GC and MEP trades.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or scope gaps in drawings, specifications, and cost data.
  • Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and supervisors to ensure corrective actions.
  • Develop and enforce quality assurance processes, checklists, and standard operating procedures for estimation.
  • Maintain documentation of audits, reviews, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
  • Support risk analysis by highlighting inconsistencies that may affect costs or schedules.
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to the estimation team regarding quality standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company guidelines, client expectations, and industry best practices.

Desirable Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation and quality assurance (US-based project experience preferred).
  • Strong expertise in General Contracting (GC) including MEP works.
  • Proficiency in PlanSwift, MS Office, and estimation/quality assurance tools/software.
  • Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
