Mechanical Drafter

Project Details
This project involves the design and development of piping systems for various industrial applications. The Piping Design Specialist will work closely with engineers and designers to ensure that the designs meet the required standards and specifications. The project will involve interpreting piping specifications, P&IDs, and other engineering documents, developing and maintaining piping drawing templates and standards, reviewing and verifying drawings for accuracy and completeness, and updating drawings based on design changes and revisions.

Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, along with certification in drafting. You should also have 10 to 12 years of experience in piping drafting/designing and be proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, 3D, etc.). Familiarity with industry standards (ASME, API, etc.) is also essential. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to create 2D and 3D piping drawings using CAD software are also required.
