Job Description

This mid-senior level position is responsible for providing statistical support to the Graduate Office, Research Office, and faculty members. The successful candidate will have a minimum Master's degree in a relevant field and at least three years of experience working as a statistician or data scientist.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing statistical support to the Graduate Office, Research Office, and faculty members.
  • Assisting in research and thesis work, including study design, data analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Teaching graduate-level courses, contributing to the curriculum alongside other faculty members.
  • Participating in the dissemination of research findings through publications, conference presentations, and other scholarly activities.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum Master's degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Statistics, or Data Science.
  • At least three years of experience working as a statistician or data scientist.
  • Co-authored three to four research papers, with major contributions to data analysis.
  • Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata) and quantitative methodologies.
  • Strong research design, data analysis, and data management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, especially in report writing and presentations.
  • Ability to work effectively with students and faculty in an academic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities, with a commitment to supporting student research.
