E-commerce Platform Specialist

A skilled and detail-oriented e-commerce platform specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining e-commerce websites using the Magento platform. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Magento architecture, modules, templates, API integration, and customization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing e-commerce solutions using Magento
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality code to meet business requirements
  • Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues with e-commerce platforms
  • Migrating and upgrading e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless performance
  • Integrating e-commerce platforms with third-party applications to enhance functionality
  • Customizing themes and templates to improve user experience
  • Managing databases to ensure accurate and efficient data storage
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve problems effectively
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platform architecture and development best practices
  • Experience with Magento 2.x and its various features
  • Proficiency in MySQL and database management systems
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an e-commerce platform specialist
  • Magento certification is a plus

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with a typical Monday through Friday schedule
  • Occasional work outside of normal business hours may be required
  • Travel may be necessary depending on project requirements
  • Work can be performed in an office or remote setting
