We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Solid Waste Management Specialist. In this role, you will assist in planning, reviewing feasibility studies, and monitoring municipal sub-projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing program documents and assisting the SCIP team in preparing documents and implementing the Program.
  • Assisting in planning, reviewing feasibility studies, and monitoring municipal sub-projects.
  • MAPPING MUNICIPAL SERVICES INFRASTRUCTURE TO ENHANCE EFFICIENCY.
  • Developing integrated management information systems for municipal services.
  • Identifying potential sites for landfill and waste water treatment plants.
  • Coordinating with regulatory authorities for smooth SCIP implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Solid Waste Management, or Public Health Engineering.
  • Skilled in field-related software, MS Office, and others.
  • 08 years' experience in relevant field, including at least 02 years' experience in Solid Waste Management.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with international experience/donor funded projects and/or experience in local government devolution and reform-related assignments.
