Job Opportunity:

The position of Senior Software Developer is available for a talented individual who can design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications using IBM Rational Application Developer.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop high-quality Java-based applications utilizing IBM Rational Application Developer
  • Ensure server infrastructure on Windows is managed and maintained efficiently
  • Develop RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the enhancement of code quality
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects and issues effectively
  • Design and implement robust data models using IBM DB2 and PostgreSQL databases
  • Utilize Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development workflows
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles with demonstrated expertise in Java development
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Java and advanced proficiency in developing web applications using Java
  • Proficient in utilizing SVN for version control
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and associated tools
  • Familiarity with agile software development practices
