Job Description:

Contour Software is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Support Developer to join our team. This exciting role will involve working with various projects and technologies, challenging oneself and others to innovate and improve processes.

As a key member of the Global Support Team, you will be responsible for collaborating with multiple teams to define and implement solutions. You will also research user preferences and continuously improve the user experience.

This role requires initiative, drive, and relevant experience in software development. If you are passionate about tools, enjoy problem-solving, and have a strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and distributed software systems, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Break down and solve complex problems related to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support issues.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to help define and implement solutions.
  • Research user preferences and continually improve the user experience.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • At least 4+ years of experience in software development.
  • Practical experience with Java, REST APIs, and SQL Databases.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and distributed software systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps.
