Senior Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Consultant Specialist. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization by leveraging your technical expertise and skills in Java development, database management, and data analysis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software solutions that meet the needs of our business units. Your strong technical background and experience with various technologies such as Spring framework, Maven, JUnit, Groovy scripting, Terraform scripting, Unix shell scripting, and PostgreSQL will enable you to make significant contributions to our projects. Additionally, your expertise in databases, automation tools, and DevOps methodologies will be invaluable in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate strong Java development skills including core Java, Spring framework, Maven, JUnit, etc.
  • Have experience using IDEs such as Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite, WebSphere.
  • Possess hands-on experience with Groovy scripting for automation.
  • Have experience with Terraform scripting and Unix shell scripting.
  • Show strong expertise in databases.
  • Be familiar with various GCP components like Compute Engine, GCP Storage, GCP Bucket, App Engine, CloudSQL, etc.
  • Have experience with PostgreSQL.
  • It is a plus to have experience with DataStage 9.1, 11.5, 11.7.
  • Possess experience in PySpark development (preferred).
  • Be skilled in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, artifact repositories, GitHub, Nexus, Groovy, and source repositories.
  • Have a solid understanding of Data warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrate architectural and design experience in ETL/Business Intelligence projects.
  • Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling tools.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies.
  • Experience and ability to apply SDLC methodologies.
  • Ability to deliver projects from requirements to implementation within Agile frameworks.
  • Contribute to the Technology Engineering Practice by sharing expertise, best practices, and learnings.
  • Ensure adherence to all standards and policies within their area of technology engineering.
  • Support data-related infrastructure and architecture to optimize data storage and consumption, addressing functional and non-functional requirements for large applications.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving incidents related to IT services, as directed by DevOps leadership.
  • Ensure service resilience, sustainability, and recovery objectives are met for all software solutions.
