Compliance Officer Role

The primary goal of this position is to support the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive compliance framework within the procurement department.

This role entails monitoring procurement processes, promoting ethical practices, and safeguarding the integrity of procurement activities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular assessments of procurement processes and activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Review and analyze procurement records, contracts, and related documents to identify potential compliance risks and issues.
  • Develop and implement compliance monitoring mechanisms, including audits and reviews.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to address compliance gaps and ensure prompt corrective actions are taken.
  • Monitor and report on compliance metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Provide training and support to procurement staff on compliance requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
  • Promote a culture of compliance within the procurement department and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in risk management activities and ensure compliance with the risk management framework.
