
Nursing Unit Lead

- Ensure high-quality patient care in assigned units by leading a team of nursing staff.
- Implement International Patient Safety Goals and Infection Control practices in assigned units to maintain a safe environment.
- Evaluate and optimize the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by nursing staff in assigned units for efficient documentation.
- Regularly visit patients in assigned units to assess nursing care quality, gather feedback, and address concerns promptly to improve patient outcomes.
- Complete pre- and post-procedure requirements for specialized invasive and non-invasive procedures as ordered to ensure compliance with protocols.
- Report medication-related incidents and adverse effects immediately to clinicians and other relevant stakeholders to prevent harm.
- Conduct regular checks on medication and supplies in assigned areas to maintain inventory levels and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with Section Head Clinical Nursing and NES to design patient education materials and implement them effectively to improve patient engagement.
- Participate in audits and take corrective action for non-conformities to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (MSN preferred), 5-6 years of clinical experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role to demonstrate leadership skills.
- Must have valid Professional Nurses Council registration to practice professionally.
- Possess Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Electrocardiogram certification (preferred) to enhance clinical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to handle difficult situations professionally involving patients, physicians, or others with empathy and tact.
- Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
- Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail and a positive attitude to deliver results.
