Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) specialist to oversee the quality of textile products throughout the production process—from raw materials to finished goods.

The QA specialist will be responsible for monitoring and testing materials, identifying defects, and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Raw Material Inspection:
    1. Inspect incoming raw materials (yarns, dyes, chemicals, accessories, etc.) for compliance with specifications.
    2. Maintain records of batch numbers, supplier details, and quality results.
    3. Approve or reject raw materials based on quality standards.
  • In-Process Quality Control:
    1. Monitor production processes at each stage: Sizing, weaving, bleaching, dyeing, finishing.
    2. Check for defects such as yarn breakage, uneven dyeing, weaving faults, shrinkage, color fastness, and others.
    3. Perform lab testing and sample checks as per quality parameters (e.g., GSM, colorfastness, pH level, tensile strength).
    4. Ensure machines and operators adhere to standard operating procedures.
  • Finished Goods Inspection:
    1. Inspect final textile products for conformity to specifications regarding size, color, pattern, stitching, and overall appearance.
    2. Conduct final quality audits before packaging and dispatch.
    3. Generate quality reports and maintain inspection records.
  • General Responsibilities:
    1. Identify, report, and assist in resolving quality issues during production.
    2. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and Product Development teams for quality improvements.
    3. Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
    4. Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and accuracy of quality control instruments.
    5. Ensure compliance with relevant industry and safety standards.
