Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring effective security of workforce, installations, and materials. The position will oversee all aspects of daily security operations, including boundary control measures, crisis management, and coordination with law enforcement agencies (LEAs).

Responsibilities
  • Provide security support to business functions and handle crisis situations effectively.
  • Develop and maintain close liaison with law enforcement agencies (LEAs) to ensure their support when required.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, LEAs, and external security partners to ensure a coordinated approach to security management.
  • Assess security requirements and deploy security assets appropriately across installations.
  • Oversee the performance of security personnel and assist them in executing operational tasks.
  • Formulate and implement Security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct periodic surveys of installations to assess and enhance boundary control measures.
  • Oversee the installation, monitoring, and operational readiness of CCTV systems.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to lodge FIRs and facilitate court proceedings where applicable.
  • Report safety violations and recommend measures to minimize risks.
  • Analyze security challenges and implement corrective measures.
  • Organize periodic training for security personnel on emergency response and mob handling.
  • Foster a conducive working environment to build a committed and high-performing security team.
  • Manage the development and career planning of security staff.
  • Oversee incident response and crisis management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security-related issues.
  • Stay updated on emerging security trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security operations, incidents, and performance metrics.
