Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain, install, and repair CCTV and fire alarm systems within hospital areas.
  • Support other Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as Building Management Systems (BMS), access control barriers, nurse call systems, and more.
  • Assist in maintenance activities and projects as assigned by the supervisor, including the repair of home appliances like microwave ovens and LED TVs.

The role involves performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on CCTV and fire alarm systems, installing, wiring, and connecting ELV devices according to hospital safety standards and regulations, ensuring all systems are functioning correctly, and responding promptly to any faults or alarms.

Requirements
  • Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in maintaining and installing CCTV, fire alarm systems, and other ELV systems.
  • Knowledge of BMS, access control, nurse call systems, and similar technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in a hospital environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working in various hospital areas, including patient rooms and technical areas.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including possible emergency call-outs.
