Cybersecurity Remediation Specialist

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating remediation activities for cybersecurity function, global businesses, global functions, and regions.
  • Providing tracking processes and reports to monitor red team issues and MSII's for Vulnerability management control.
  • Oversight and support of Vulnerability Management remediation workstreams, maintaining and documenting remediation plans, metrics, and reports to track risk closures.
  • Managing escalations if remediation activities are not completed on time.
  • Closely collaborating with Metrics and Reporting teams to establish effective security testing metrics supporting business governance and reporting requirements.
  • Fostering a culture of individual self-improvement and development, ensuring staff maintain subject matter expertise in their area of focus and broader cyber security realm.

Risk Management: This role demands rigorous risk management, including ensuring exceptional service quality for our customers, adhering to risk policies and procedures, and notifying regulators and third parties of concerns while taking required action.

Your Success Factors: You will consistently embody HSBC values and culture, reassess operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, and address areas of concern in conjunction with senior leaders.
