We're seeking a highly skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineer to lead the design and architecture of our Motive Fleet products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build new product features.

As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for leading medium to large complexity Frontend projects, involving teams of 2+ developers, and making architectural design decisions for new product features.

Main Responsibilities
  • Leverage your technical expertise to lead the development of Frontend projects, breaking down complex tasks into manageable chunks and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, designers, and QA to execute on projects efficiently, providing input on project planning and milestone setting.
  • Provide mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow in their roles and onboard new hires to the team.
  • Engage in code reviews, maintaining the quality and design of the codebase.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Frontend development using major frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.
  • Mid-advanced knowledge of Angular framework is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leading medium to large complexity projects, driving architecture and design decision-making, and breaking down complex tasks into actionable steps.
  • Strong software design and architecture skills.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies in software development.
