Visual Effects Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic vision, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with directors, designers, and other artists to deliver visually striking effects that enhance storytelling.

The successful candidate will create and integrate high-quality visual effects that align with the project's artistic vision and technical requirements. This includes developing realistic and stylized effects such as explosions, fire, smoke, particles, fluids, and other dynamic simulations using industry-standard VFX software and tools.

In addition to creating exceptional visual effects, the Visual Effects Specialist will collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver VFX solutions. They will also participate in reviews and iterations to refine VFX shots based on feedback and troubleshoot technical challenges and find creative solutions to achieve desired effects within deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a VFX Artist in film, gaming, advertising, or related industries. They will be proficient with VFX software such as Houdini, After Effects, Nuke, Maya, Cinema 4D, or equivalent. Strong artistic skills, a good eye for detail, timing, and composition are essential, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative production environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and integrating high-quality visual effects that align with the project's artistic vision and technical requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and deliver VFX solutions.
  • Developing realistic and stylized effects including explosions, fire, smoke, particles, fluids, and other dynamic simulations.
  • Using industry-standard VFX software and tools to design, simulate, and composite effects.
  • Optimizing VFX assets and workflows for performance without compromising visual quality.
  • Participating in reviews and iterations to refine VFX shots based on feedback.
  • Troubleshooting technical challenges and finding creative solutions to achieve desired effects within deadlines.

The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and strong communication and teamwork skills. A portfolio showcasing a range of VFX work demonstrating creativity and technical skill is also required.
