We are seeking an experienced leader to fill the position of Quality Assurance Director at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Lahore, Pakistan.

About this role

This is a leadership position with a critical mandate: ensuring compliance and reliability across all quality processes from raw material to final product. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading both Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions at our upcoming API manufacturing facility.

  • Develop and implement a Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), DRAP, and international standards
  • Manage QA and QC teams, overseeing laboratory operations, documentation, and in-process controls
  • Ensure readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance audits
  • Set up and validate analytical laboratories, including HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.
  • Handle deviations, CAPAs, OOS, and drive continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate with production and R&D teams to ensure quality by design
Ideal candidate
  • Pharm-D, M.Sc., or M.Phil. in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, with 5+ years in QA/QC leadership, preferably in API/bulk drug manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of cGMP, ICH guidelines, GLP, and documentation
