Linux Systems Engineer Position

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, implementing and maintaining cutting-edge Linux-based systems and applications in high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and Implementing Robust Infrastructure: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Linux-based systems and applications.
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Maintaining System Availability and Performance: Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Linux-based systems and applications.
  • Troubleshooting Complex Issues: Identify and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Automating Repetitive Tasks: Utilize automation tools to optimize system performance and efficiency.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient Linux-based systems and applications.
  • Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of Linux-based systems and applications.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Linux operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: At least 6 months of experience in Linux-based systems administration and operations.
  • Technical Skills:">
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating system fundamentals.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
