We are looking for a skilled Waiter to join our team. As a Waiter, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring they have a great dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and make them feel at home, ensuring they have a positive experience from the start.
  • Presentation of menus and information about dishes, ingredients, and potential food allergies is crucial to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen staff to avoid any errors or misunderstandings.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Regularly check in with customers to ensure their satisfaction with each course, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Clear and clean tables after guests leave, resetting cutlery, refilling condiments, and ensuring the area is tidy and welcoming for the next customers.
  • Process bills and accept payments efficiently and accurately, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with ease.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of physical stamina throughout the shift is crucial for success in this position.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress is a plus, demonstrating your ability to provide top-notch service in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems are essential for processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills are critical for building strong relationships with guests and colleagues alike.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of physical stamina throughout the shift is vital for success in this position.
