Job Title: Principal Software Engineer- React Native

A key member of the Creative Chaos team, this principal software engineer is responsible for developing front-end mobile client applications across various software platforms.

The ideal candidate will ensure that the functionality, security, and performance of the server application meet the design requirements and are completely bug-free.

This leader will be responsible for guiding a team of engineers through continuous training and mentorship.

The role requires a strong understanding of business requirements, excellent coding skills, and proficiency in technologies such as React Native, Typescript, and GraphQL databases.

  • Analyze business requirements and estimate assigned tasks
  • Write code and unit tests, ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals
  • Tune code for enhanced security and performance
  • Maintain systems by fixing existing issues and updating issue tracking software
  • Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with clients
  • Control code versions, research new technologies, and lead a team of software engineers
  • Mentor team members through training and guidance, promoting skill development and knowledge sharing
  • Evaluate candidates for open positions and participate in hiring processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 6-10 years of experience in a professional industry
  • Proficient in rendering components with Native APIs
  • Experience transitioning from native IOS/Android to React Native
  • Familiarity with Typescript and GraphQL databases
  • Understanding of REST APIs, document request models, and offline storage
  • Experience working with Swift, Kotlin, Objective C, or Java is a plus
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML, and cross-platform compatible code
  • Excellent programming and analytical skills with knowledge of design patterns
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Github and JIRA
  • Effective communication skills in English
