Job Opportunity: Software Development Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated project manager to deliver seamless and user-friendly software solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the discovery, planning, execution, quality assurance, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of multiple software platforms/projects.
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans and timelines according to guidance from stakeholders.
  • Oversee front-end and backend software development using modern agile methodology.
  • Assist and support software developers by removing obstacles, improving workflows, and providing timely feedback on submitted features.
  • Advocate and enforce best engineering practices, design principles, coding standards; drive high-quality in all phases of software development.

Requirements:

  • Certification or relevant training in project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field; relevant work experience considered.
  • 5+ years of previous experience in a software development environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development project management with a proven track record.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Exposure to full life cycle software including initial discovery, writing software proposals, agile development, automated and manual quality assurance testing, and ongoing software maintenance.
  • Practical experience with software engineering best practices and coding standards.
  • Experience with JIRA or other similar agile development tools.
  • Agile software development life cycle, practices, and tools (coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, QA).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Knowledge/certification or equivalent is considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of at least one project management platform.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent is a plus.
