Technical Director

As a key leader, you will oversee the Technical team consisting of Engineering, Production, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Admin personnel. Your responsibilities include ensuring robust manufacturing processes are in place to produce high-quality products.

You will be accountable for site performance, delivery, capability, behavioral development, and talent management to meet business goals.

Job Requirements
  • Proven knowledge of GMP and Regulatory requirements is essential.
  • Ownership of core technical business processes includes Product Lifecycle Management (Technical Risk Assessment, Product Control Strategies, Continued Process Verification, Process Robustness Assessment).
  • Capabilities in driving change, delivering solutions, developing people, and building relationships across multiple interfaces are necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated Project Management experience, particularly on major technical and/or capital projects, are required.
  • Data-driven decision making at both tactical and strategic levels is crucial.
  • Matrix leadership across Technical, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Packaging & Logistics is needed to support product control strategy utilizing CGMP principles.
  • Delivery of process improvement/optimization projects that contribute to key site metrics such as Cost of Goods, Process Robustness, Cost of Poor Quality, yield, waste-process, and testing to improve competitiveness and commercial ambition.
  • Developing business growth opportunities by establishing links with Commercial, Franchise Strategy & R&D teams, ensuring Technical considerations are integral to network and category strategies.
