Oracle Financial Functional Consultant

Certified Director | Country Head Opportunity

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Certified Director to lead our country operations in Pakistan and KSA. As an Ex Member of Provincial Assembly, Sindh, you will leverage your expertise to drive business growth and success.
About the Role
  • You will be responsible for delivering Oracle ERP Financials solutions (including Cloud) as a Functional Consultant, focusing on customer-side roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience are essential for this position.
  • Strong understanding of key financial processes and EPM capabilities is preferred.
  • You will collaborate with the implementation team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 4 full life cycle end-to-end implementation projects implementing Financials module is required.
Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts during workshops and sessions to capture requirements accurately.
  • Work with implementation partner functional consultants to ensure solutions align with business needs.
  • Develop business scenarios and test scripts based on initial work done by the implementation partner.
  • Address gaps through Sprints and validate design work before showcases to ensure effective decision-making.
  • Support end users and system accountants with knowledge transfer sessions.
  • Analyze and resolve functional design challenges by working with the implementation partner.
  • Create and deliver end-user training materials.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create configuration data for the implementation partner.
  • Develop or update existing SOPs.
  • Define hierarchies and workflow requirements for the implementation partner.
  • Review detailed functional specifications from the implementation partner.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and work closely with the business and implementation partner.
  • Conduct system testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Assist business users and Subject Matter Experts with data mapping from legacy systems to target systems.
Key Requirements
  • Mid-Senior level professional with extensive experience in delivering Oracle ERP Financials solutions.
  • Strong expertise in key financial processes and EPM capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is beneficial.
