Payroll and Tax Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Payroll and Tax Specialist. This role involves providing expert services to clients, utilizing multiple cloud-based software for payroll, tax, and accounting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and file 1099 and W2 forms accurately and efficiently.
  • Manage payroll processes and related accounting activities with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize QuickBooks for payroll and accounting tasks to streamline operations.
  • Provide responsive and professional services to clients, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Use multiple cloud-based software for payroll, tax, and accounting functions to maximize efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email to address their needs promptly.
  • Prepare and file quarterly and annual payroll tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work on and resolve State and Federal tax notices to minimize potential liabilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • ACCA, CA partially qualified, or equivalent qualification in a related field is essential.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills are mandatory.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel, is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
  • Experience with QuickBooks and US payroll processes is highly desirable.
