Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise Audits: Supervise the examination and analysis of records to ensure compliance with applicable laws and established policies and procedures.
  2. Counsel Auditors: Provide guidance and support to auditors to ensure that approved audit objectives are met and practical coverage is achieved.
  3. Monitor Work Performance: Ensure that work performance is accurate and complete, and that departmental objectives are met.
  4. Develop Staff: Provide counseling and training to enhance the audit skills of departmental staff.
  5. Stay Up-to-Date: Keep knowledge updated by attending relevant seminars and workshops.
  6. Share Knowledge: Disseminate knowledge among colleagues through presentations, workshops, briefings, and advising as needed.
  7. Build Relationships: Develop and maintain contacts with departmental heads to create better relationships and trust.
  8. Support Chief Auditor: Assist the Chief Internal Auditor in ensuring that goals and objectives of the department are met.
  9. Conduct Investigations: Perform special investigations as requested by the Chief Internal Auditor.
  10. Foster Collaboration: Assist in maintaining a close follow-up on decisions taken in Audit and Finance meetings.
  11. Optimize Resources: Ensure efficient utilization of available resources.
  12. Maintain Confidentiality: Understand and appreciate the sensitivity and confidentiality of information pertaining to audits.
