Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect Production Lines and Areas: Conduct regular inspections of production lines and areas to ensure GMP compliance and identify any potential issues.
  • Sample and Test Products: Sample and test products during manufacturing, filling, or packaging according to approved sample plans.
  • Quality Control Release Testing: Sample blends and/or finished goods for QC release testing according to approved SOPs.
  • Maintenance of Quality Records: Complete and maintain quality and production records according to GMP.
  • Materials Inspection and Approval: Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
  • In-Process Production Approval: Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
  • Finished Product Approval: Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
  • Maintenance of Safe Work Environment: Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
  • Manufactured Parts Inspection: Check manufactured parts against specifications and tolerances on production drawing to ensure they meet designated specifications.
  • Error Documentation and Reporting: Document any and all problems/errors found and report these to appropriate department for correction.
  • Open Items Follow-up: Maintain documented list and follow up on open items until they are fixed and can be closed.
  • Process Timing Documentation: Document process timings for production processes to help ensure accuracy of information in company routings.
  • SOP Review and Development: Review and develop Company SOPs when needed.
  • Other Related Tasks: Fulfill other related tasks as asked by management and arising from the job role.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, science).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
