**Software Design Leader**

A software design leader transforms business requirements into a functional blueprint. This blueprint guides the implementation team and ensures that projects are delivered according to agreed-upon designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to presales, user experience design, sprint development, delivery phases, and review overall proposals.
  • Provide valuable input during user experience design and review wireframes from a technical standpoint.
  • Develop necessary artifacts before development work begins, ensuring direction for the team.
  • Create a solutions design document to provide guidance for the development team.
  • Ensure the design is followed during the development phase and document any changes.
  • Review the work produced by the development team.
  • Provide training to developers and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and the team on all technical matters.
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable university.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in multiple technologies, preferably as a full-stack developer.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience making significant architecture & design decisions, including data domain modeling, design patterns, and third-party component usage.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse/multiple stakeholder environments.
  • Proven expertise in engineering and software architecture design, with a deep understanding of coding languages, various operating systems, databases, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
Technical Skills
  • Superior Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors involved in the software development process.
  • Project and Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of project resources and impact.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess technical education and hands-on experience across major areas of the software development process, including hardware engineering expertise (for software projects relying on hardware).
  • Risk Identification and Management: Analyze and identify potential short and long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations.
