Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Inventory Planning Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing inventory health across the supply chain, developing supply plans based on demand forecasts and strategic goals.

  • You must be proficient in using Excel for advanced calculations.
  • Candidates will be required to demonstrate their Excel skills through an assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • You will develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels across the supply chain network.
  • You will manage the supply planning process, incorporating sales forecasts, seasonal demand, and lead times.
  • You will regularly analyze demand forecasts, historical sales data, and market trends to refine inventory plans and guarantee product availability.
  • You will collaborate with sales teams to optimize inventory levels and devise strategies to minimize waste and excess inventory.
  • You will identify potential stockout risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional departments, including sales, logistics, demand forecasting, and finance, to drive inventory management initiatives.
  • You will establish and maintain robust tracking systems to monitor inventory levels, cycle times, and order accuracy.
  • You will analyze inventory holding costs and lead times to enhance inventory turnover and service levels.
  • You will investigate root causes of inefficiencies and develop actionable plans to eliminate excess inventory and streamline inventory flow.
  • You will create and maintain inventory performance metrics and reporting to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • You hold a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • You have 1+ years of experience in inventory management, demand planning, or supply chain analysis.
  • You possess exceptional analytical skills, including data analysis and forecasting expertise.
  • You are well-versed in inventory management systems, supply planning, and demand forecasting.
  • You have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • You excel in communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • You can manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies is beneficial.
