Back-End Developer Role Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Back-End Developer with expertise in .NET to fill this key position.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, database management, and API development.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend solutions that support our applications and business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using .NET (C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET)
  2. Design and implement RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and third-party integrations
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and designers, to deliver seamless solutions
  4. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  5. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security
  6. Implement database solutions using SQL Server or other relational databases
  7. Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure system stability
  8. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in backend development
Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  2. 5+ years of experience in backend development with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)
  3. Familiarity with .NET Core Web API's, .NET Core MVC, .NET Framework, Razor Pages
  4. Error Logging
  5. Application life cycle
  6. Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
  7. Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL Server
  8. Experience with ORM frameworks like Entity Framework, ADO .NET, Dapper
  9. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Identity Server)
  10. Experience with version control systems (TFS, Git, GitHub)
  11. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  12. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Knowledge of Frontend framework (React)
  2. Familiarity with SQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server)
  3. Experience with Clean Architecture
