Job Description

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and enhance our software development infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with development, QA, and IT teams to automate, monitor, and maintain scalable and secure cloud environments for our software projects.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for optimizing and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS to support multiple software development projects. This includes implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, as well as monitoring system performance, availability, and security using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, etc. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline is also required. Additionally, proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation is necessary.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Optimize and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
  2. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
  3. Monitor system performance, availability, and security
  4. Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  5. Set up and manage development, staging, and production environments
  6. Collaborate with software developers to ensure smooth integration, testing, and deployment of applications
  7. Troubleshoot system and deployment issues quickly and efficiently
  8. Manage access controls, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans
  9. Automate routine system maintenance tasks and optimize deployment workflows
  10. Ensure infrastructure complies with security best practices and industry standards
  11. Document procedures, configurations, and support processes for internal teams
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineer role.
  3. Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, ECS, EKS, CloudWatch, etc.
  4. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  5. Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  6. Good understanding of Linux-based systems and command-line tools.
  7. Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
  8. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
