Job Summary

You will create interactive reports and dashboards to visualize key business metrics. We require a skilled Power BI Developer who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, analyze data, and develop effective visualization solutions using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modelling – Design, implement, and optimize Power BI models for accuracy, performance, and scalability.
  • DAX Development – Write complex DAX measures, implement calculation groups, and apply advanced techniques to support business requirements.
  • Security & Governance – Configure Row-Level Security (RLS), enforce governance standards, and ensure compliance with best practice modelling.
  • Source Control & DevOps – Use Git/Azure DevOps for structured release processes.
  • SQL Development – Write efficient SQL queries to interrogate and transform datasets for integration into Power BI models.
  • Tailored Delivery – Deliver tasks from specification through to delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Best Practice Modelling – Champion dimensional modelling and star schema design for consistency, maintainability, and performance across the reporting layer.
  • Dashboard & Insight Delivery – Build and enhance enterprise-grade dashboards for usability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • 6 years of experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
  • Proven track record designing complex Power BI models and reports with deep knowledge of DAX, RLS, and calculation groups.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling, star schemas, and BI best practices.
  • Experience with data modeling and report design best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience with additional visualization tools is a plus.
