About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Procurement Strategist to provide expert guidance on sourcing, contracting, and vendor management. This is a critical role within our organization, and we need someone who can develop and implement effective procurement strategies that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive procurement plans, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet our needs.
  • Provide strategic advice on procurement-related matters, leveraging expertise in contract management, supplier selection, and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to inform procurement decisions and strategies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing training and guidance to colleagues on procurement principles and practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. 5-8 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing effective procurement strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and make informed recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
