PPC Specialist Role

Skill Overview: To excel in this role, you should possess PPC-related experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment. A Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with the Head of Supply Chain to create planning schedules and work statements outlining detailed facility requirements, manpower needs, and material lists for respective sections.
  2. Strategically monitor production processes to ensure precise conformance to PPC plans.
  3. Assess suitable manufacturing processes based on production specifications and calculate tool, equipment, material, and human resource requirements, taking into account plant/machine capacity data, and report findings to the Head of Supply Chain.
  4. Analyze direct and indirect raw material requirements in respective sections and finalize raw material planning under the guidance of the Head of Supply Chain.
  5. Prepare purchase plans for respective sections.
  6. Ensure timely follow-up on any unforeseen manufacturing process delays.
  7. Collaborate with all concerned departments in case of any delays.
  8. In the event of deviations from PPC plans, immediately notify the Head of Supply Chain and assist in devising an alternate schedule without disrupting major delivery plans.
