Ruby on Rails Developer Role

This position involves developing and maintaining web applications using Ruby on Rails. We are looking for a skilled developer who can contribute to our team's success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and implement new features, ensuring scalability and maintainability of the codebase.
  • Implement end-to-end testing and continuous integration to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with the team to deploy production changes efficiently, prioritizing speed and reliability.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with the team to drive the direction of the product and improve software development processes.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying innovative solutions to complex problems in web development.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Ruby on Rails: Proven experience in Ruby and web application development, with a strong understanding of Rails 5 and its ecosystem.
  • Database Management: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL query language, with experience in writing and optimizing SQL queries for efficient database management.
  • Front-End Development: Expertise in modern web protocols and markup languages, including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility for delivering seamless user experiences.
  • Drive and Initiative: A self-motivated individual with the drive to own high-impact projects from day one, taking ownership and responsibility for results in software development.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and identify effective solutions in programming.
  • Restful APIs Integration: Experience integrating Restful APIs into web applications for efficient data exchange and API-driven architecture.
  • Mobile App Optimization: Knowledge of optimizing technology for mobile apps, ensuring seamless user experiences across different platforms and devices.
  • Version Control: Familiarity with source code management tools, such as GitHub, for collaborative software development and version control.
